誰的天堂般觸摸 (約翰·道蘭歌曲選)
瑪莉安娜・弗洛勒斯 女高音
霍普金森.史密斯 魯特琴
Mariana Flores (soprano)
Hopkinson Smith (lute)
This recording devoted to Dowland seems to open a door onto a secret garden, one tend-ed and cultivated by two art-ists already well known for opera and song recitals that distill the chamber music prin-ciple into its most intimate es-sence of expressive sound: so-prano Mariana Flores, and lu-tenist Hopkinson Smith. Here they give us a Dowland pro-gramme straight from the heart, drawing on five of the composer's volumes of ‘Songs or Ayres' printed in London be-tween 1597 and 1612, laying bare Dowland's ecstatic and tortured soul as it oscillates between all the different states of melancholy love.
