Of a mysterious density, sometimes perceived as hermetic at the end of his life, Fauré's scores retain all the charm of his youthful works with a more direct melodic genius.

If Fauré knows the German composers, his expression is of a different nature. No extravagant effusion at home but an internalized emotion - perfectly understood and restored here: succeeding the piano inspired by Simon Zaoui (who appears as a soloist in the last three Nocturnes), the musicians interpret who a sonata or a trio, which the autumnal melodies of The Fanciful Horizon with an absolute understanding of Faurean inspiration, a true poetry of the intimate.
