Michael Bartos is a versatileconductorwith a strong command of many musical styles .Born in New York City, he is a graduate of the School of Music, Indiana University and has conducted numerous orchestras in the United States, Europe and the Orient. These ensembles included the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Monte Carlo Philharmoni Orchestra, Delaware Symphony Orchestra, Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra and the Palm Beach Symphony Orchestra. He was one of the founding conductors of the National Symphony Orchestra Taiwan and also conducted the New York Lyric Opera Company in the first fully-staged production of a Lully opera in the United States- Acis et Galathde.
