Korngold, Glanzberg, Weill and Hollaender are all very well known by music lovers - composers whose hits are often whistled or casually sang. These artists, forced to a painful exile, managed to composed radiant melodies and songs; a beautiful and strong testimony of their joy for life and their desire to create in the face of adversity and intolerance. Through classical music, cabaret songs and movie themes, Isabelle Georges and Jeff Cohen have us walk in the footsteps of these admirable men.
