When world-renowned banjoist Béla Fleck realized that his instrument had lost its musical heritage, he decided to make a pilgrimage to Africa to rediscover the banjo's folk music roots.  In 2009, the results of this trip were released by way of his critically-acclaimed Throw Down Your Heart album and film (first released in 2009).  Through its stunning location footage, enthusiastic jam sessions, and hauntingly beautiful music, director Sascha Paladino's multi-award-winning Throw Down Your Heart captured a collection of the world's greatest musicians demonstrating how music transcends languages, cultures and continents.  This is the first time it will be available as a complete set.  Its release is timed to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of Rounder Records.
