Founded in 1981, the Orchestre d'Auvergne is a string ensemble whose excellence is recognised well beyond European
borders. Led by Roberto Fores Veses since 2012, they occupy a special place in the French musical landscape. This new
recording from Aparte pairs two masterpieces of the romantic repertoire: Beethoven's Quartets Nos. 11 and 14 in
arrangements for string orchestra by Gustav Mahler.
