舒伯特 / 卡瓦納: 藝術歌曲改編曲集 酒井淳 大提琴
Atsushi Sakai, Isa Lagarde, Anthony Millet and Noemi Schindler, Anthony Millet
Cavanna and Schubert - perhaps a surprising combination of composers? Or perhaps not, when one considers the admiration of the first for the latter. Raised on Franz Schubert's Lieder and the music of his grandfather's accordion, Bernard Cavanna has taken on the task of transcribing the piano part of these songs for violin, cello and... accordion, of course. The result is a surprising rereading that brings out the popular and folkloric tones of these miniature musical stories. This instrumentation emblematic of Bernard Cavanna's work serves as the connective tissue of the album, linking together the Lieder and his two trios.
