Provençal singer Manu Théron, founder of the polyphonic group Le Cor de la Plana, has here convened a new assembly for
an album of Occitan protest songs based in the historic Thirteenth century poetic art of Trobar, the lyrical exultation of which
reflects the vitality of Occitan society of yore.
Grégory Dargent (from L'Hijaz' Car) displays his musical acumen on the oud, while the Palestinian percussionist Youssef
Hbeisch (Trio Joubran, Ibrahim Maalouf, Bratsch) once again dazzles with his propulsive rhythms.
