Titanic, Romantic, impassioned, Tchaikovsky's Grande Sonate for piano op.37 is like a Russian epic, with its landscapes and
its battles. The more intimate cycle The Seasons, like a musical diary, depicts the frailty of human existence. These two
works, respectively imposing and delicate, demonstrate Tchaikovsky's love of the piano.
Renowned for his poetic streak, his precise playing and his expression power, Jonas Vitaud is a pianist full of curiosity. He
was awarded four prizes at the Paris National Conservatory (piano, chamber music, harmony and piano accompaniment) and
several international prizes as a soloist and in chamber music.
