A Day for the Hunter, A Day for the Prey, the follow up to Leyla McCalla's critically acclaimed Vari-Colored Songs, is a
musical exploration of two cultural identities, one sprouted in the United States and the other firmly planted in Haiti.
McCalla alternates between cello, tenor banjo and guitar, and sings in English, French and Haitian Creole. Whether she
