Born in 1967, trumpet player Stephane Belmondo is one of the most famous French Jazz musicians. He won all the significant awards (3 "Victoires de la Mu-sique", "Prix Django Reinhardt de l'Academie Du Jazz"…) and he played with lots of great musicians including Yussef Lateef and Milton Nascimento. He also featured on more than 200 Jazz records.

His new album Love for Chet is an amazing tribute to the late Chet Baker, one of the best Jazz trumpet players ever. With Thomas Bramerie and the great Jesse Van Ruller on guitar he covers on this album some of the greatest Chet Baker songs, originally played as a trio with Doug Raney & Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen (N.H.O.P.) for Steeplechase in the eighties.
