Cajun music is the folk music of the French-speaking Acadians (‘Cajuns’) of south-western Louisiana, whose ancestors migrated from Nova Scotia in the second half of the eighteenth century. The singer and multi-instrumentalist Bobby Michot, heard here with some of Louisiana’s finest musicians, is one of the most talented exponents of Cajun music.
