"In order to commemorate Knappertsbusch's 125th birthday we are releasing the present CD in which he conducts two works by one of his favorite composers, i.e. Beethoven. Even though these recordings aren't first-time issues, they are released from original sources. The most interesting work is of course his 7th Beethoven with his «beloved» Wiener Philharmoniker that he conducted more than 200 times. "
