珊曼莎.費許 / 善惡之間 Samantha Fish / Kill or Be Kind

2009年，來自堪薩斯的作曲家歌手珊曼莎•費許自組樂團並自己錄音發行個人創作。她的作品常以藍調、鄉村草根與搖滾音樂相關，很自然的現代美國音樂曲風就成為她的活招牌。從2012年到2018 年，共奪得21個獎項。其中包括孟斐斯2012年最佳藍調新人獎、2016年獨立藍調獎年度最佳藝人與一次囊括2018年off Beat雜誌的最佳女歌手、最佳表演者與最佳吉他手三個獎項。確實，寫曲與唱歌她在行，吉他更她專精的樂器。

Samantha Fish is a woman who’s career is on the rise. Her 3 week European tour last May had numerous sold out shows in venues that were larger than she played in the past and the critics raved about her. See the attached quotes. Her Rounder debut is entitled Kill or Be Kind and will be supported by a 2 week European tour beginning in late February. I know that some of you are already familiar with the Kansas City native from her previous releases on Ruf Records, but really believe this new album is going to be a breakthrough and take her to the next level, beyond the usual blues audience. Samantha is already well regarded as one of the best contemporary blues guitarists out there. Add a voice that can belt out a rocker or just as easily sing a soulful ballad, together with heartfelt songwriting, a unique look and you have the recipe for success.
