What is this 'out of doors' of which the pieces by Bach, Schumann, Bartok and Janacek that David Kadouch has assembled
here speak to us? Fixed and domestic, the piano does not seem to be the instrument of roaming. And yet it speaks to us of
the outdoors so that we may hear more clearly what we hide in the innermost recesses of our dreams and our secret fears.
